Madagascar Unknown

When I decided to explore Madagascar independently, I had two problems. The roads are terrible, and so little information is known about the remoter parts of the country that they are not even mapped. Undeterred but a bit worried what started as a curiosity about Madagascar turned into an epic, three month solo adventure off the beaten track to discover this amazing place – entirely by public transport. Along the way I encountered stylish pastors, corrupt police, a speeding undertaker and above all the magical nature and wildlife of this great country.
